Designer and Instructor
I’ve always been curious about who we are as people, and the psychology behind how we communicate.
I have spent the past 5 years as an instructor and volunteer at Canada Learning Code, a not-for-profit dedicated to digital literacy programming for women, youth and teachers. This involvement has helped me realize my love for learning and empowering others through education. I have also been fortunate enough to instruct at Humber College and Ryerson University through their ADaPT (Advanced Digital and Professional Training) program.
In my personal and professional work I value honesty, communication and inclusion. My design process incorporates; defining and understanding the goals and desired outcomes from an empathetic lens, research and analysis, brainstorming ideas, prototyping, testing and gathering feedback, post evaluation and improvement.
When I’m not in front of a computer you can often find me doing Zumba, watching art films or singing to my houseplants.
